| Tue 9th Mar 2010 New Kingsway JFC Jackets Welcome to a new season and a new era for the Kingsway Junior Football Club..! We are about to place the first order for our new style of jacket which were a hit at Rego day - everyone now has another opportunity to order at the introductory price of $45 per jacket. The jacket will be embroidered on the right hand breast with our Kingsway Rockets logo and it will also have the initials 'L.J.F.C.' embroidered below the collar on the back to honour the clubs roots of Landsdale JFC. It is available in kids and adult sizes. We found that most people had to come down a size to what they normally buy as they are a larger fitting. We have a number of sizes available for you to try on if you need or you can use the sizing guide on the attached links to measure across the chest of a jacket you already fit into at home. | Sat 6th Feb 2010 Registrations 2010 Registration day for the 2010 Season has been scheduled for Sunday February 21, 2010 at the Kingsway Sporting Club, Skeit Road, Madeley. Registration will be open from 10am to 2pm on this day. Further details can be found by clicking here. The club caters for Auskick (Pre-primary - date of birth prior to 30 June 2005, to year 3), Modified Rules (Year 4, Year 5, 11's and 12's) and Open Rules 13's to 17's. Click on the Registration Form to download a copy of the clubs registration form or alternatively this form can be found in the document section (under administration on the main menu) of this website. For AFL Auskick online registrations go to aflauskick.com.au Clearance forms are required if you have been registered with any other junior club in Australia. The clearance form can be downloaded by clicking here or again, by going to the document section (under administration on the main menu) of this website. Any new registrations will require a copy of birth certificate to be lodged with the registration form. | Mon 1st Feb 2010 Club Mouthguard Fitting Mouthguards will be available to be ordered and fitted by Galadent again this year. Be sure to get yours fitted at the Registration Day on the 21st of Feb at Kingsway. The club will continue to receive a rebate for every mouthguard purchased through this group. Private health insurers may also provide you with a rebate through your medical scheme. | Mon 4th Jan 2010 Expressions of interest sought - official club positions We are currently seeking Coaches, Assistant Coaches & Managers for the Open Rules and for the Modified Rules teams. These are very important positions within the club and we would like to fill them prior to the season 2010 commencing. Submissions close 13 Jan 2010 for open rules coaches, and for modifieds 30 Jan 2010. Any queries, please email Craig Nylander or via 0424 182 855. | Sat 10th Oct 2009 Boot Exchange There is now a box with second hand football boots at the club. Bring in your old boots and exchange them for a pair that fit or donate them to other families to use. A gold coin donation is requested for any boots taken. All proceeds will be donated to charity at the end of the season.  | |
